    Real Men, Real Issues

The weekly zoom meeting affords fathers access to support by recognizing that they are not alone, encouragement that they can get through the challenge of the day, strategies from men who have had similar experiences and a community of prayer and action ready to roll up their sleeves and help when the going gets tough.

    Leader Training

As a member of the group you will participate in formal and informal leadership training. Fathers learn how to be the lead by praying through issues, speaking the truth in love, holding each other accountable, practicing the ministry of presence (showing up!), preparing lessons and patiently mentoring the youth.

    Fathering Skills

More seasoned fathers mentor less experienced ones to help them to develop closer relationships with their children. Fathers learn from each other and share strategies for dealing with kid related challenges. Fathers hold each other accountable and provide a shoulder to lean on.

  • Dads and Kids Hangout Services Dating Program - couple holding hands

    Dating Skills

Our young people are taught to be respectful of themselves and others. They learn how to date in a Christ like way and are taught that dating is the search for their life partner and a prelude to marriage, not an open door to numerous “commitment free” hook ups.

  • Youth Life Skills Awards Program

The youth in our program learn the importance of serving at home and in the broader community and are recognized for the good works they perform by the various awards that we give out. They are rewarded for doing well academically, doing their chores, helping families to move, serving senior citizens through snow removal, cleaning and minor repairs.
